Background
Universitas Sumatera Utara will host the 7th Joint Working Group on French-Indonesian Cooperation in Higher education and Research. This annual event takes place
alternatively in France and in Indonesia, More than 250 Indonesian and French participants took part in the 6th Joint working Group in Lille in 2014, representing 105
institutions.
This purpose of this event is to provide opportunities for Indonesia and French national and local government representatives, university representatives, researchers,
experts, and company representatives to meet and:
Review and evaluate the project of the past year;
Identify priorities and schedule a programme of events (scientific converence, seminars, workshop) for 2015;
Set up the mobility programmes for students and lecturers for 2015.
Key Issue
- How to strenghen student and lecturer mobility?
- How to build sustainable partnership?
- How to work with companies to develop research, mobility and training programs?
- How to address the new priorities of the Indonesian government (including maritime issues)?
- How to ensure strable funding programs ?
Participant
- Representatives of the Indonesian government;
- Representatives of Indonesian and French universities and research centers. Universities and research centers already involved in the French-Indonesian cooperation are also welcome to participate;
- Representatives of French and Indonesian local goverments;
- Companies involved in the French-Indonesian cooperation;
