Historical Background
In January 1954, the Foundation of the University of Sumatera Utara established the Faculty of Law and Public Knowledge under the standards of the Foundation of the University of Sumatera Utara. This Faculty was officially inaugurated on 12 January 1954.
Vision:
To be a leading Faculty of Law which produces high quality and professional graduates with high morals and who are highly competitive nationally and internationally.
Missions:
- To conduct education and competency-based legal research focusing on problem-solving approaches in line with national and international legal trends.
- To improve the quality of teaching and learning process through the development of infrastructure, facilities, educational facilities, career paths and the welfare of the lecturers and education personnel.
- To engage lecturers and students in scientific and problem-solving activities in line with national and international legal trends.
